Caring for your employees' and customers' health and safety has taken on a new dimension in the COVID-19 pandemic. One of the most important things you can do is put practices in place to detect the virus as early as possible and minimize the risk of transmission in the workplace.

siParadigm will work with you to develop a testing regimen tailored for your business and hold onsite testing on a schedule aligned with your needs.

You designate a day and time for siParadigm to come to your site, and a testing location (a room or parking lot). Our provider will visit to take samples from your employees and bring them back to our lab for evaluation. (Alternatively, if you have a physician or nurse on staff, we can provide kits for that medical professional to collect samples, to be returned to us for testing.)

You can "block schedule" testing for your employees, and we'll send them a confirmation email that will include instructions and procedures.

The test we use – a molecular real-time reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction assay, or RT-PCR test – has been granted Emergency Use Authorization by the FDA. It involves taking a sample from the upper nasal passages with a swab, and evaluating that sample for evidence of the virus. (Note that this test looks for active infection, not for antibodies that suggest past infection.)

Results are available in as little as 24 hours (maximum 48 hours) and communicated to your employees via text. Those that test positive will be referred to their physician and with their consent, their results will be provided to you as well.
